Morning all I had the suspension set up completed at HM Racing in Edenbridge and so glad I did, can't recommend these guys highly enough. It's made a world of difference to the bike, the front is now more compliant and not knocking my teeth out anymore, cornering feels much more stable on the front now. The rear raised and sorted but they did say it's on the limit, if I were any heavier it would need a better rear shock although the standard is not bad, even so with the adjustments made it's so much better, it drops in spot on and pulls out of the corner harder with no skipping like it did before, in the wet is where I really noticed how much further you can push it now, however I'm sure some of you guys would find the limits of set up suspension but for my requirements at present this is working well. I come from an Enduro background so know how important it is to have the suspension set correctly for you as a rider and the terrain, the little tweaks here and there make a big difference to how the bike handles and how you can ride it, confidence inspiring is what it comes down to. I'm not good with uploading things but will try and copy the settings on here for you. Attachments:

Thanks for this, I've been trying to soften the front end, and had got halfway from standard to those HM compression settings. I'll try this, as front still too 'harsh' at speeds below 90mph!

I softened the fork compression 3 Clicks and soften the fork rebound 1 click. Worked/works perfect for me:
Front Sag 31 mm Pre Load 9.25 Turns C/W In (Standard) Front Compression Damping -20 Clicks AC/W Out -3 Front Rebound Damping -7 Clicks AC/W Out (-1)
----------- ----------------- -----------------
New Nitron R3 Shock with Spring for 100kg Rider / (May 2018 tweak) Rear Sag 14 mm Pre-Load as got (Standard) Rear Low Speed Compression -10 Clicks Out (Standard) (-2 Softer for Touring) Rear High Speed Compression -10 Standard AC/W (-2 Softer for Trips &) Rear Rebound Damping setting -12 Clicks Out (Std).
Original (Stock) MT Shock Sag Rear 15 mm, Pre-Load approx +1 & 1/2 Turns, Harder Rear Slow Speed Compression Damping, 12 Clicks AC/W Out, is Standard Rear Rebound Damping, 10 Clicks AC/W Out, is 1 Click Harder Rear High Speed Compression Damping, + 1/3 of a Turn In, Harder

Yes, I tried the HM set up, and it is slightly more comfortable, but I think I've lost some of the high speed sharpness. I guess it's a compromise, but a better rear shock would probably solve the issue.

Is that correct seems a bit low, just on with messing with mine that’s all. Cheers

I’ve set my K-Tech rear shock with one extra click on the C&R as it was slightly too quick on both (which was confirmed when reading the tyre as per Dave Moss video), feels better now and set the forks the same as BJs Fast Bikes set up although dialled in an extra click on the rebound and dropped the forks though the yoke by 1 ring (10mm) and it is now so composed and confidence inspiring I’m well happy.

110kg rider😂 With the "Revised Rider Sag" on the forks at 47mm (which is a lot), is the preload wound in fully and therefore no more adjustment available?

Think mine has too much sag then but feels a million times better than it did before. Exuptoy What was your reason for dropping forks speed steering or put more weight into the forks is it because you are not heavy enough for the springs? Cheers

Nah mate, I’m 92kg plus kit. The only logic was Dave Moss video states that in the 3 months after purchasing he covered 8000 miles and through many changes finally settled for a 20mm drop in the front, from1line showing right down to 3 lines. Huge difference. I’ve gone down 10mm (1line) and it feels more stable in corners as the nose high stance has changed to a more sportsbike stance. He reckons the geometry is all wrong in standard form. Obviously you may need to adjust preload again after but it is an instant improvement. The bike feels more like you can roll it over the circumference of the tyre and it steers quicker too with a lower front.
