Finally picked it up and quick ride yesterday, and the first thing to notice is how crap the mirrors are, lovely view of my arms but nothing else. So help any recommendations for the mirror replacement, thinking bar end, but which one, looks like the internal diameter of the handlebars could be an issue.
Thanks Seefour

I've had cheap eBay knock offs that look the same as Bogies and my current mirror of choice three pistons. The three pistons are not made anymore but Rizoma do some the same (but cost a lot more). I love the quality of my current ones but the view (slight fisheye) on my eBay ones was much better. Best of both worlds with what was behind and next to you. Down side was that the image as it where was small and at speed the vibration made them hard to see what was behind you. First two images are three pistons (Rizoma do the same style). Last image is the eBay knock offs.

Thanks for the info, taken the bar ends out and it looks like the thread in the bar end is M18, which means i will have to get the screw in mirror mounts, or risk damaging the thread in the end of the bars, any comments please, lots of choices out there, it just a matter of taste and will they fit, with the thread in the bars. Please keep the info coming.

But now with rizzoma mirrors see little bit less but with Italian style. Bugger all really. Think I will leave em on but if I go touring or a trip put Yamaha one's back on.

Getting use to rizzoma mirrors now don't have to move elbows just your head to one side. Quite good took some experimenting getting the right angle

I use 3 pistons mirrors, slight tint to the glass but low down to give decent view behind

I have just done a quick search, looks like 3 pistons have shut down, they have a facebook post about suppliers and quality, it does say something about selling what stock they have left but after that its finished, sorry!

Can you mount these under the bar? Just switch and swivel them? Cheers What cheaper brands should I consider too please?
