A303 from deepest Wiltshire here. Not an owner yet - currently searching for 'The One' nameen? (Innit). Current ride is a 955 Speedy with a race pipe and also a shed full of old shi ... sorry 'projects' but biking history dates back to when an XS750 was a superbike. You might have come across me from sites which involve Aprilia twins and I still have one among my projects. Once owned a TDR250 and anticipating a similar level of banzai fun from an MT! Please tell me I'm right.

Welcome. You're right, alright. MT has pure RD400 spirit and character times 4 and then some without rust and handling woes and with full on reliability and torques all gears and revs .

Welcome matey. I’ve had mine for just over a year and have no itchy feet for a change. This bike has the very same attitude as my old Gixer 1000 which was +2 at the rear sprocket and Power Commandered!

Well that didn't take long! Dark by the time I got her home so pics tomorrow. Mainly motorway to get back so can only comment that the brakes are appalling, the cruise is a brilliant thing - and by feck does it go!

Stick a better set of pads in and the brakes will feel way better. Enjoy

Brembo SA Road and SC Fast Road/Track pads both improve the brakes a lot. The Original Yamaha pads feel like wooden blocks but they do work with almighty pulls. I changed pads to Brembo SA Road and i am well pleased for over 16000 miles

Save your money and get some SBS Sintered they’re only £30 for the complete front set.
