So at 3 years old I had to replace the battery. No problem was easy to get and fit.
I might consider getting a Lithium Ion battery.

I went with a Skyrich battery in my RR9 Blade.
Never had an issue with it. Also you can use a standard charger to charge them as long as it doesn't have a desulfating mode. Oh and their is about a 2kg weight saving :-)

I put a BC Lithium battery in both my current bikes (and my previous bike) - they weigh nothing and seem to work well.

i had a shorai lithium in my R1 and have one in my zzr1400.
Weigh next to nothing and much better performance.
Will get one soon for the MT10.
