Hi Team,
I got akrapovic exhaust is not loud enough for me. I'm trying to find some decat options. Any suggestions?

Your right, the majority of the noise control is in the cat, so best get rid if you want to be heard. I used the leovince decat pipe and left the original can on. Sound is spot on and it doesnโt fry your brain on a long run. 108db at 6k revs. Youโll see the Leo has a small sound deadening chamber built into it, which I think is brilliant.

Why there is so much difference between akra decat and leo vince? 560ยฃ vs 190ยฃ, due to titanium?

I do agree to a point, they are over priced but the quality is one of the best out there. I have had a few different ones and I prefer the akra

I'd try wiring the EXUP open first. This makes a fairly big difference and is free and not as obnoxious as a full decat.
Full decat will also cause a flat spot mid range that is only cured by a ECU flash too.
Sure you can run it fine with out getting the fuelling sorted but why would you.
Going down the Akra road you'll be nearly ยฃ600 lighter after a flash for a visit more noise ๐ฎ

Yes but ยฃ600 is worth every penny for the Vulcan bomber on take off sound track. It becomes addictive ๐

I see the only options is to safe money for decat and ecu flash. I got near me woolich tuner www.stevejordanmotorcycles.co.ukGuys let me know if is big different after decat and remap?

Hi piotr , I've used SteveJordanMotorcycles(SJM) and had varied results. I used SJM for my Ducati 848 and the results were great. But i had my 2016 MT10 dyno'd with SJM and i must say i was not happy at all. It could be a one off case and i hate naming & shaming companies BUT my experience was not great. I will though add i have since been to Simon @ S-TEC Performance and the results are amazing. I rode away after Simon finished with my bike and it was totally different to what SJM had done. The throttle was smooth and the power was amazing. I have added a link below to a previous post which was created by another user. S-TEC Performance post
I would totally recommend taking your bike to Simon @ S-TEC Performance. Good luck and please ask any questions if you have any. I assume you may be local to me as i found SJM in my area, so happy to meet up if that help and discuss it further. My setup is a scorpion full decat and i have an SP Engineering end can.

Many thanks for help. I got email from s tech, Simon explained me everything in details. But still can't make decision which decat i should get. This is my commuter and "weekend" warrior bike. I use bike all year around, i do not want make him extremely loud, but with slip on is to quiet. Decision, decision ๐๐
Anyone with decat near London-Bromley, Kent area?

I purchased a Pipewerx carbon tri exhaust and de-cat pipe for approximately ยฃ600. ECU reflash done by Jordans Motorcycles in Leeds (custom fuel map) for ยฃ380. Bike is a lot louder and deeper.

I have had two decays on the bike now, first one was way too loud and had to get rid but the Akra decat with Akra endcan is just tight loud but not obnoxious. As for remap you get a bit more pull in mid top rev range and loose the on off throttle which tbh I got used to in the end you just had to be mega smooth with your throttle hand.
