Checked bolts, they're torqued up. It'll go to the dealership on Friday for a check up.. might be nothing but it's not something I've ever seen and the 10°c jump in temperature is what's causing concern. It'll get checked over... As I said might be nothing but it might also be something. As it's just over a year old with 5026 miles on the clock I'd rather get it looked at and put my mind at ease.
It's a decat scorpion so no there no exup valve 👍
Will update when it's been looked at.

I know it’s hard to get a true picture from photos but they don’t look like there’s a problem, as for temp I wouldn’t have a clue what mine runs at until it went bang. Have you had it flashed dyno? May tell you more maybe if dealer can’t find anything.

I put up those pics of my 15k miles ones up for comparison. Mine darken discoloured blackish at top but have not got any carbon / soot on them, like Fuzzy’s do. Oh, Fuzzy, I don’t think that Harri183’s went bang; I think he is saying funnily/humorously that he just rides and doesn’t look at temps, lol. Nor do I when riding quick (🤭 on closed road of course 😉) twisties. It’s too warm for coats Harri... 😁 As said at constant riding for a while at over 60 mph down open roads for a few miles brings my temps down from as high as 110 degrees C in town traffic into the Seventies degrees C or so on the open road. Yep Dealer needs to see it Fuzzy. 🤞 PS Of the 2000 worldwide users on the old forum no one (that I know of) but no one reported carbon soot deposits on the outside of their header pipes. This is Definitely an odd one. PPS I do wonder that the fitting and alignment of your link (Decat) pipe has had a long term messing up effect

Well nearly crashed a few times today fixated with engine temperature. So run to work this morning 73 at 80mph way home when it was quite warm 79 - 83 at 80, around town up to 105. From what you have been saying don’t think there is anything wrong with the temps.

Can’t see lithe fitting of the link pipe doing anything nothing to go wrong, the only thing it could do is make it run lean and that from day one could be a problem. Have you taken out the plugs to lhave a look?

Have you taken out the plugs to lhave a look? Yeah, if not remapped after link pipe fitting then it may be running weak (hotter), especially in the mid range.

So, coolant change today at the dealer Motul factory line organic +.. temps dropped to 65-70°c at cruising and 105 in slow traffic. Ambient temp was 27°c today for reference.
As for the carbon build up, they don't know what caused it. So it's been cleaned off and I've been advised to keep an eye on it. Should it reoccur I'll have to drop it in to be looked at it more detail but gaskets were fine and the headers are fine too. The A/FR is fine, not lean or rich so that's a good thing.
Have got her booked for a service now as it's due in about 900 miles so will get that done next month with some fresh 15/50 300v

Has the bike been remaped to suit the decat system? Euro 5 engine tend to run very hot anyway, decatting would further lean the mixture exacerbating the leanness and increasing combustion and exhaust temps. Most MT10 remappers reduce the cut-in temps for the fans anyway.
