Just removed the cat from my bike and fitted a link pipe. Bike sounds awesome but I’m sure the speedometer reading is now in KMPH. Only ridden the bike once since fitting and it sounds awesome. The MPH indicator is still showing but the speed figures definitely look wrong for the speed I’m traveling. Tried to set the clock to KMPH with the intention of resetting to mph but can’t work Out how to do it. Any suggestions guys? Cheers Antony

Pretty sure it's not user configurable and would need to be changed via the OBD port and proper Yamaha software. However, instead of guessing, why not attache a GPS (even a GPS speed app for your phone which can be downloaded for free).
Sit at 50 MPH on the GPS, if the bike is reading in KMPH then it will show 80 on the dash, as 50 MPH is exactly 80 KMPH

It tells you in the user manual how to change between KPH and MPH

Ah, seems NSR500 is right and I stand corrected! See page 4-9 of the owners manual, or page 30 of this PDF version.... cdn.yamaha-motor.eu/owner-manuals/Motorcycles/PB6728199E1E_1.PDFIt says the following.... That will be very useful when going touring in Europe! Learn something new every day. Manual also says if it is set to KMPH then it will show your fuel consumption as km/L or L/100km, and if set to display speed in MPH it will show fuel consumption in MPG, so you can confirm what it is set to just by looking at the fuel consumption you are getting.

Mph to Kph. Just push Clock and Reset at same time and instantly release both together too.
