S22s are supposed to be a decent step up from the S21 - must admit I like the sticky feeling of the Bridgestones - how times have changed - I remember when Bridgestones felt like they were made of concrete!

Just fitted and done 100 miles on them. Can’t praise them enough road conditions not brilliant but dry in most places. Changed the feeling of the bike, some of that may be new tyre and old inherited tyre having flats but have 100% more confidence in the bike which is what it’s all about. I would say corner speed is about 15mph up and picking the bike up on full throttle has vastly improved. Riding in the wet (damp) was superb didn’t have to adjust speed and angle much when going from dry to wet under trees. Wound a load of preload on front and back to set sag right and that made a massive difference as well made for a better ride. Next job is to go up to a heavier spring at rear as I am on max preload. Just love the bike now.

^ Ah A1 rear shock 👍...
Suggest regular disc rotor cleaning, (with disc brake or carb cleaner), brake fluid change, best new pads and then go from there... Rotors get all greasy guff build up on them but cleaning with kitchen roll and disc cleaner helps a lot. Yep know you have to really pull on lever hard.
I had MT out today, between down pours, I also had nearly forgot the bloody brilliance of the bike.
Happy MT-ing 👍

Update... I’ve got 2300 miles on the Power RS rear now. I think in a few hundred more miles I will get new (newer) Power RS+ Rear. The new + is only available for the rear and the + will apparent last a few more miles 👍.

Yep know you have to really pull on lever hard. Jeez - you should try stopping my Supercharged Triumph Thunderbird (350+Kgs wet) from 150mph - that takes some lever pulling! LOL

Rear RS lasted 2500 legal miles, others users could get more, but profile was gone and bike white-lined and it’s turn-in became not so good. So got a new RS + on now. The + is meant to last more miles.

The + is meant to last more miles. I should hope so - 2,500 miles is appalling for what is supposed to be a sticky road tyre - it's not as if it's a Diablo Supercorsa! After 8 trackdays 4,500+ miles and bald, my Avons still tracked true and didn't white-line - and a set costs less than a rear Michelin.

I might try the Power RS hoops after these S21s are done. I am currently on my 2nd rear tyre on my MT10 and the bike has only done 4868 miles and have ordered a 3rd rear (another S21 as the front has a good bit of life left).
