Hi all. Anyone considered or done a change of handlebars? Or maybe risers? Just wondering if there are any positives to it on the mt10 as I have fitted renthal bars to bikes in the past and they really improved seating position, comfort and manoeuvrability .

There is a riser from Gilles Tooling but crazy expensive. Never seen anyone did anything. only once seen a rizoma bar.

I was thinking a little more weight on the front end with a slight pull back towards the rider would be more comfortable.

There was a Dutch guy username Blues on the old (original) forum that put lower bars on. On full lock they were very close to the tank. From Some American brothers and a girl also did change their handlebars. Not sure this is any help other than saying yes some have but maybe not on this forum.

Swapped mine for rizoma bars and low risers on, not as easy as you think but I prefer it to stock. Not sure I'd do it again. I tried first to move the display unit forwards with spacers but you can't as it's at an angle, so bit the bullet and swapped the front brake as was going to upgrade anyhow. If you don't change the brake it will foul the display. Wouldn't try it unless youare fairly comfortable with the spanners, I changed the front brake for an RN32 R1 and the throttle for an r6 plus Hel brake lines. I'll post a pic.

Hi Mate, Old post I know... But would be keen to understand the do's/dont's for the bar swap... I am going to do mine in a week or so....Cheers
