Cheers guys!! Sadly two minutes after I took these pics, the bike ended up on its side.....side stand not fully down. Thank the gods for R&G crash protectors.......no damage apart from a scratch on the bar end, and mirror! For your entertainment...

Those protectors are worth there weight in gold sometimes, good news there is no real bad damage.

I see your problem, you rolled away from the bike, you should have laid underneath, could have saved some pennies on crash bobbins then

So that's what Yamaha's side-rails for their Sidecases look like on the bike...
Those rails use the same lower subframe mounting bolt on points as Yamaha's rear carrier does. So that's why it's Yamaha's rear carrier or Yamaha Panniers sidecases. I did wonder why Yamaha stated rear carrier or side-cases. I got round that by fitting Mt-09 (SWMotech) soft-saddlebag type Panniers on and have rear carrier for topbox.
