Looking at this Scorpion EXO-AT950 as a possible new lid. For $250 USD it covers a lot of uses. Anyone have any experience with this model or this style of helmet?

Looks smart with the peak off but those hard edges don't make it look "slippy". I imagine it would generate a lot of wind noise and buffering at speed. Only way to tell is try one but I'm yet to find any dealer that will let you test ride a lid. I did my homework and bought the HJC RPHA 11 in Matt black. Come with pinlock visor inserts and a free road legal dark tint. Looks smart, is quiet and nice and light with great venting.

Thanks for the info. I have an Arai Corsair V and a Arai Signet Q I use now.
I am just looking to give the flip-up helmet a try with out spending what I did for my Arai's LOL

I tried the HJC RPHA 11, but it just did not fit my head shape in the end. Did feel nice and light, been hearing good things about HJC. In the end I stuck with what I know and bought another schuberth.
With regards to flip up modular helmets. I still have my C3 pro and enjoy it. It just works for commuting I think and touring. I've had one for over 5 years now. Just moving back to full face and finding it tough.
