Before you take your hard earn money to a dealer to set your suspension. Try this setup below guys suited for weight between 90-95 kilo (2 kilo either way will suffice) but remember to keep a note of current setting in case the setup below is not for you so you can revert back Post comments and feedback below if you use these settings

Agree, those with reasonable tech mechanical ability can tweat in their own suspension settings. Although the suspension runs in and smooths out with a few 1000 miles on it and after that we are more used to the bike and mostly likely riding it better too. For my brand of ROAD riding and my usage here's where my suspension is at: I am a bit over 90 kg. Pre-load is measured from being turned fully AC/W out 1st, although there is about a 3/4 of a turn in C/W before you can feel the adjuster touch on to the spring; which is not a big deal. So I counted the 3/4 turn as normal free play. NOTE: All the damping settings are set from being screwed fully in C/W. In bike gear I'd be around 95 kg fully kitted up. Here's where my suspension has ended up *** 24th of Oct 2016 *** Suspension UpDate Settings: Front-Sag 32.5 mm, Pre-Load @ 9 Turns C/W In, that is STD. Front-Compression-Damping, @ 19 Clicks AC/W Out, that is - 2 Clicks Softer than STD. Front-Rebound-Damping, @ 6 Clicks AC/W Out, that is STD. ----------- ----------------- ----------------- Rear-Sag 15 mm, Pre-Load approx @ + 1 & 1/2 Turns C/W from more than STD, so that is slightly more than STD. Rear-Slow-Speed Compression Damping, @ 12 Clicks AC/W Out, that is STD. Rear-Rebound-Damping, @ 10 Clicks AC/W Out, that is + 1 Click Harder than STD. Rear-High-Speed Compression Damping 2&2/3 turn AC/W Out, that is + 1/3 of a Turn In Harder than STD. NOTEs: C/W is = ClockWise and AC/W is = Anti-ClockWise and STD means the STandarD recommended Yamaha Setting. All working grand for me on the road... mt10forum.com/threads/1249-An...ension-Travels
