I recently purchased my bike and it came with the standard can and Leovince de-cat. For my ears it’s a little too loud and a good advertisement for any copper in the area to how I’m riding. Can anyone recommend a baffle that slips in the front of the silencer for the standard can that tones it down a bit? The standard can doesn’t appear to be doing much in the way of silencing. There’s hardly any perforations to the exhaust packing.

The can wont silence the bike no matter what one you use, a longer one will very slightly, all the silencing was done in the cat, you can buy baffles, just a case of finding a universal one that will fit inside the decat pipe, try fleabay to get ideas of whats about, or if you know anyone that works in a machine shop get one made to suit, or wear ear plugs!

Baffle does nothing really. My 1290 track baffle just fits in the back of the silencer but it still screams when you open it up. It’s actually not that obnoxious when you’re moving along below 6k rpm and after going out with a mate who has a Pani with standard cans, his is definitely louder. I’ll stick with it.
