Hi
Just joined the group - Bristol UK
I bought a 2020 MT10 last year, it was about 10 months old, has exhaust with no Cat and I love it
I've seen a couple of videos on youtube showing and saying that a considerable number of MT10 owners have had engine blow ups, bikes with low mileage
Should I be worried, even though I have another 10 months or so warranty, I've not really come across modern bikes with engine issues?
Thanks for reading and comments

I am on my second MT10, had the 1st one for 3 years and no issues, had 2nd one 4 months and engine sump gasket is leaking (warranty job), engine blow up is rare though, its unstressed on the 10 as its retuned from the R1 really. Has yours had ECU flash? It could run lean which isn't good, a flash should sort the mixture out though

Thanks for the reply
Not had the ECU flashed, I have read that while it's not ideal, running lean shouldn't cause any significant engine damage, it seems to run very well, very responsive - maybe they all are
Apparently the exhaust I have (Lextek) was designed on my bike - so would like to hope it would be pretty much perfect for it?
How much would an ECU flash cost and any recommendations where to get it done?
I'm based in the Bristol area
Thanks

ECU flash will fix the fuelling and give the bike a nicer throttle, wont be anywhere near as snatchy, a flash will be in the region of £350 and i am in Scotland and used a local shop to have mine done, there are some good people around you that should be very good also, i dont know any names though, i am sure there is a post on here about ECU flashes that should give you a heads up
