Rode to West Wales Sun from the North East. Quite a treck to get there but well worth it. Toured area for 3 days with a friend who had prepared our routes. Fantastic roads, scenery and people.Great digs. Travelled home Thurs, bike was faultless throughout other than its thurst for fuel. 1180 mile covered from Sun to Thurs and averaging 44.6mpg. Needing a garage every 100 mile or so was becoming a chore, but hey ho. NC500 beckons for next year.

Fantastic roads and scenery. I live in Cheshire on the Welsh border and head across most weekends.

I wish I lived nearer mate,I would also be heading there most weekends. There is some beautifull scenery up here in the North East, not as much as Wales obviously, but the roads are mostly u/s. Enjoy your weekend rides.

Try Scottish roads further up north just as good as Welsh roads

You will love the roads up north, not many straight bits, should keep the tyres well worn on the edges
