Hi. I’m new to this forum. I’ve had my 2016 MT10 for just over a year, still loving it! My rear tyre is looking tired, the bike having 4,400 miles on it now, and a small slit in it too. Any recommendations for new tyres that are suited to the MT please? It’s got Bridgestone BRittax S20r on at the moment. Thanks

Depends what you want from you're tyres really. If you want them to last a little longer then maybe a touring tyre like the Road 5 or Angel GT or a sportier tyre then the S21/S22s or the Power RS. I currently run S21s however my bike has only done 4950 miles since new and am looking to buy my third rear tyre for the bike :-0

I've had s21and s22s and liked them. Haven't tried avons but I've read good things. Whatever you do don't buy Pr4s - I got 3k out of a rear and way less plantedness.

Don't put dunlop roadsmart 3's on,they really do not suit the bike.Bridgestone s22's or conti road attack 3's or more mileage as said pirelli angel or michelin road 5.

Agree with X Plane, I just fitted Michelin Power RS and they are the best tyre I have had on this bike by a mile. Previous tyres were Pirelli Rosso 3 and IMO they changed the whole front end feel of the bike. Personally I never liked the Pirelli's and could never come to gips with them. The Michelin Road 5's are also said to be a great tyre if you ride wet roads, something I rarely do.
Cheers
