Anyone tapped into the number plate light for power?
I've swapped the 12V up front for a USB and tapped into those wires for the Garmin, job done all works fine.
I've also got a Nextbase ride but didn't want to tap that into the 12V source as probably going to be close to blowing the fuse if charging a phone as well.
It comes with a direct to battery kit, which is great but I'm bound to forget to turn it off. I was thinking of adding a switch but then that's the same issue really. Having already routed the cables back to under the seat I'm looking for a power source back there to tap into, identifying the reg plate wiring was easy enough so first thought was that?
Cheers,
James.

Can do but its rated at 1A if I remember. Rather than do that take it off the starter relay which is 30A and switched live. Excuse the mess of mine but here is the location...
