I’m thinking of getting the ECU my otherwise standard 2016 MT10 flashed. I don’t want or need an increase in BHP or anything like that, I’d just like a smoother throttle response, especially low down.
I’m in North Birmingham so can anyone recommend a place that they’ve used personally that I can go to to get this work done? Failing that, recommendations for other places would be appreciated and I’ll travel.
Cheers
Rich

In the absence of any recommendations, I’m going to go to Junction 33 at Lancaster for my ECU flash.
I’ll get it sorted in the next couple of weeks and let you know how I get on.

Hi Richie just had mine done with the whoolich racetune package by Andy at Junction 33. he has done loads of mt 10s so probably will have a map for standard unmolested bike to just load straight in or if you want to spend a bit more he can do a custom map on the dyno. really nice guy who knows his stuff u won't be dissapointed.

I too vote for Andy at Junction 33. Sound guy and will spend time with you to explain all that he does. He did my 2016 MT10 and the difference is fabulous. No more kangarooing around town. Well worth it.

I had my first chance to ride the MT10 after the postal flash today.
I'm a very happy customer.
The bike is much smoother, I can select higher gears at lower rpm than before with no jerkiness. It's a peach to bimble around on - feet up U-turns are a cinch and it still has all the go it had before when you wind it on.
I'll happily recommend Junction 33 as the place to go.

Got a custom map on my stock 10 today at Junction 33. The difference for me is unbelievable,I’m having to recalibrate how quick she gets up to speed. Oodles of torque and silky smooth with it. Andy is a very nice guy and a master at what he does. Well worth the money. Cant believe how strangled these bikes are from the factory.

I am another j33 user, although i am in a pretty unique position as this is my 2nd mt10 and the only reason i got my new 20 plate one done is because it was nowhere near as quick or grunty low down as my 1st bike. When i bought this one i asked if they had changed them from 2017 as i hate all the electronics and was pleased when the dealer said no,BUT they have obviously got more strangled [maybe the first one was euro3 and this is euro4] but this new one was so disappointing,i am so glad i had it remapped it's gained 9bhp but more importantly in some parts of the rev range it is putting out NEARLY DOUBLE the bhp the standard one was.
