Hello from the north east, got my standard 2016 mt10 last september and been using this and other forums for a while anonomously to glean info and tips, thanks for that. thought it was about time i did the right thing and joined in. been around bikes since i was a teenager had a bit of a gap to bring up two kids and got back into them about 10 years ago. I have a serious problem" according to my wife " as i cannot leave my bikes as i bought them,i thought all bikers had that problem and i get bored easily. Had the woolich remap and quickshifter/racetools package fitted a couple of weeks ago by Andy at junction 33,done a bit of paintwork, new exhaust and other bits and bobs, just need to get the suspenders sorted and it will be fettled. although not sure which products i am going with yet and the lockdown has kind of put that on the back burner for now. Hi Xplane got nitron ntr2 on my streetfighter, i agree good shocks been looking for a decent priced s/h ohlins and probably go for cartridge inserts for forks still working on getting some money together to pay for it. Got the seat from Arse Custom Seats,he has loads on ebay, £275 plus your seat in exchange not cheap but by far the best quality i have seen and i have had a few seats recovered. not sure he has mt10 listed on ebay but he might still have my old seat to do. I (95kg me) find the forks to be grand way better than the stock shocking rear shock. So I just done upgrading the rear and very happy with the result and the front to rear balance.

he has loads of seats on ebay, except mt10, his name is Andy Swan Arse Custom Seats, email is andyrswan@aol.com phone no is 07702124055. give him a ring as i said he might still be doing my origonal seat. yes the rear shock aint up to much.can't seem to dial the harshness out of it. but i just bought a R1 ttx off ebay today, need to have it serviced, manual adjusters fitted and set up for my 72 kilos without my gear on. once i get the rear sorted i can play about a bit more with the forks and see what happens. you can ride your bike if like me you are dropping some paracetomol off at your moms. i think thats a wink emoji.

Welcome matey. Nice ride. I have a K-Tech DDS Lite on the rear of mine, same as Noel, my forks are standard.
