Hi Guys
My Name Lee From London UK
I am the creator of MT10 UK Owners Club.
Been riding bikes since I was 6 years old so my maths tell me that hmmm 44 years
My first bike was a Puch MS50D 3 gears on the handle bars whey back in the 70's
First road bike was a Yamaha FS1E-DX 1977 then moved on to an RD250 then in 1983 I preordered the RD350lc2 Known as the 31k model
I then traded the LC2 for an RD500 the V4 2 stroke but always breaking down and spent more time off the road getting fixed so I sold it (if only I know back them what they will be worth now)
Back in 1986 I had my first experience on a GSXR 750f ( the first slab side ) instantly ditched the 2 strokes and moved over to the big 4 superbikes
I was hooked back in the early 90's building streetfighter 7/11s
I owned a motorcycle salvage breakers and many bikes went through my hands, first blades, R1's
streetfightered many Damaged R1's by stripping of the plastics, tidying up the wires, flat bar and lights
I never could understand why Yamaha never made a streetfighter based on the R1 nearest they got was the fazer FZ1 but wasn't there
Having many bikes over the years and gearing away from superbikes 2008 I went upright, so to cut it I chose the XJR1300, loved the bike and owned about 5, but preferred the early carb modes
Jan 2016 I saw it the new Yamaha MT10, read the reviews and pre-ordered one, and yes the best bike I have ever had, in fact, I now have 2
Also sitting in my garage is my pristine 1983 RD350lc2 31k and a 1998 R1 4XV
So creating the MT10 UK Owners Club last year on Facebook when really only a handful of lucky people had one, back then I just knew this bike was going to be a big hit
Only this year really as Yamaha are producing more that more people are buying them thus creating an influx in members joining the Facebook page and group, so i decided to create a forum
And so here we are, members growing bike getting amazing respect and like-minded people to link together to chat share and engage
So welcome aboard Guys!
