So I'm seriously considering changing every nut and bolt to titanium along with both axles, chain adjusters, magnesium bars, Caliper grub screws, titanium pistons (caliper not engine).
3 reasons. 1. Corrosion resistance 2. Styling against the flat black paint 3. Weight loss.
Might only save a few grams per bolt/nut/stud and a couple hundred on the rest but it all adds up.
If I do it I'll be starting with the in spring weight and bars.
Thoughts?

Will lose more weight going for a big crap 💩
Exhaust, wheels and subframe. Anything else is just bling factor but your talking big money.

Reason 1 is definitely valid.
Reason 2 is also valid.
As harri183 said reason 3 is a waste of time.
Remember to use anti seize on every bolt you put in.

As above, if you don’t you can get galvanic corrosion from dissimilar metals which can make getting them out a problem. That’s the reason ProBolt supply a little pouch of it with every pack.

Complete and utter waste of money that no-one will actually notice imo. If you're bothered about corrosion wipe some acf 50 on every nut and bolt. Buy some brembo brake pads, far more useful 😁

Did that quite in all my bikes using tit or ally (even carbon washer) Not driving in rain or winter as i have bikes for that , cannot say if they will stand corrosion well. But i like the outcome with the all black effect Attachment Deleted
