Got my brake lever fitted last night no drama's but when i went to do the clutch lever i noticed the bottom bit of metal which connects with the clutch safety switch is non existent.
From my understanding the switch only prevents you from starting your bike in gear and is a back up to the footstand cut off switch.
Has anyone else changed their levers and made this switch become redundant ?
want to know if it massively affects anything before i commit to putting it on.
Cheers, Alex

So all are aware and what i worked out is the switch behind your clutch does so much more than first thought lol. originally assumed it was just the clutch safety switch so you cant start your bike in gear without the clutch in. Turns out the bikes cruise control and quickshifter are both reliant on the switch functioning !
