Braved the semi less chilly weather while there was some bright sun shine to get the Gilles Tooling Sprocket Cover put on the FZ10 today. You can also see the newly powder coated shift knuckle above it.

wow that looks amazing ~!!! shame it will get some Chail oil on it. Nope.......I love being the one to start this controversy but I have done this for many years with out a single chain failure like all the "experts" claim it will. I also have multiple friends who do the same with no issue.
I do not soak my chains in oil or lube. I wipe down my chain after every ride with WD40. Not WD40 Chain Lube. The original WD40. No excess crap to fling off on my bike and especially the aftermarket wheels I have on my bike. My chain performs perfectly and doesn't get gummed up.

Exactly, WD works a treat.. Spray a little on, leave 5 mins and wipe excess off with decent blue paper towl
