I have some al cheapo chinky type shorty levers. Had them about a year now but hate them. They are adjustable snd no issues with switches etc but i dont like the positioning/angle of them. Im thinking lightech or ASV or even Evotech
What have you fitted and have you had any issues with the micro switches?
Also when im putting my bike in 1st gear from cold its started to clunk loud. Im thinking the al cheapo clutch lever is not pulling the clutch cable in enough even though its adjusted right at the lever. Also engine off and then put in first gear if i push the bike with the clutch in i can feel it drag as if the clutch is still biting a bit. Anyone?

I re adjusted the cable again at the clutch end and then at lever plus for now i put the standard clutch lever back on. Topped up with a drop of oil to be sure its not that. Seems a touch better. Im thinking now the clutch may be donald ducked. The bike hates low speed 1st gear in london traffic so you have to ride the clutch a bit. This could be part cause. Re adjusted chain slack too. Anyone else had these kind of gripes?

Sorry the reply is late. I have opted for the long ASV Had a problem with fit though. Clutch is great. The front brake isn’t good. The paddle that presses the brake and cruise switch is only covering half the switch button. Also the hole in the lever that presses the pushrod isn’t deep enough. This causes the front brake to drag and get hot. I tested it for only 500 meters and the discs get hot and you can’t turn the wheel by hand. I’m sending the lever back to performance parts so they can check it out. Its for a 17 plate SP. I dont think it’s the right lever. On the lever it is stamped BR41C if any of you guys want to know. It’s too dangerous ride with that lever so I’m hoping they send me the right one. Not sure if there’s any difference in the mt10 and the SP version? Can’t believe they sent it tbh. Oh well let’s see how it goes when they have the lever back.

Calsport list BRC541-K for long black C5 brake lever on fleabay. That’s what it says on my box. On the lever it just says BR41C It does not fit right. There is not enough paddle over the switch and the hole that the plunger goes in isnt deep enough or it needs a shorter plunger rod.

The Evotech's are a perfect fit. I had no issues with fitting and cruise control works.

I’m going to add, the ASV does not fit the brake side. The plunger rod is partly activated causing the front brake to drag. Dangerous..! I returned the ASV levers and I have the Gilles levers and the oil filler cap on the way. I will post up how the fit of the Gilles goes. Fingers crossed.
