I look at this section and (in my head) incorrectly see “Readers" 'Wives' not "rides", Lol. just me?
I guess it is all about trips and rides on the bike

Hahahaha, you're a sick puppy XPlane, Sigmund Freud would have his work cut out with you😂😂. Lol, I know, that’s the best bit. Oh him, he’d fail, I’m incurable, though generaly harmless 😂😂 Talking of “rides”: Rode from Belfast (east coast) to Donegal (west coast) thru mid ulster and along part of the ‘Wiid Atlantic Coast’ near Killybegs and camped there yesterday. A ride out to Sileve League Cliffs are well worth a visit: open and close the swing gate behind ya and ride up the narrow tarmac road to the nice view point 👍

Just recently returned from a trip which included a week in Sardinia (Sardegna) in which I drove a hire car from the Airport in Oblia to the North of the Island. I could not believe how good the condition of the roads were and it seemed that whoever plotted these roads surely must ride motorcycles. Unfortunately being from the bottom part of the globe the chances are very slim that I would ever get the chance to put a bike on these roads.
Has anyone on here ridden their way around Sardinia? I have never been to any country where I have been so jealous of every single motorcycle rider I came across on these roads. I was also amazed at how many people were riding two up, something that looks fairly common in Europe but much rarer here in Australia.
Cheers Jim

Cheers Jim took I rode Sardinia, in 2005, on my trusty Triumph Tiger 955i. It was 3500 miles to get to the bottom of Sardinia via Corsica, Italy, France, England, Wales & Southern Ireland. The coast roads on the Top and bottom of Sardegna (Sardinia) were excellent. On The way down from Santa Teresa port I kept a westerly route and avoided going into the central mountain areas on advice of ltalian Sardinia friend, in case she worried I get kidnapped and held for ransom, lol. I told her hey I’m from (what was troubled) Northern Ireland, but she still worried. It’s a Lovely place. Small tho. The MT would love it there. I’d say that Northern Spain would have your head explode if you’d no bike. There must be a market for hiring motorbikes. There was a Yamaha dealer in Alghero.

N621 north from Potes then at Ojedo right onto CA184 to Valdeprado / CL627 to Vañes is worth a ride. Gets narrow and tight in middle then opens out on mountain.
