Got some Bull-it SR6 vintage jeans I wear for probably 80% of my riding these days, I think they're great. In fact, I've just ordered another pair so I can have a clean pair always ready and waiting...
Why? Well quite often I'll ride to work, and don't want the inconvenience of putting my leathers on and taking them off again at work etc. (and I wear jeans at work all day anyway). Also, having bought a pair, they're REALLY bloody comfortable!
For sure, if I'm going out for a dedicated blast, I'd put my leather jeans on too, but like I say, 80% of my riding is short rides including to and from work (often the long way home) and the Covec/Kevlar jeans are optimal for my use I find (I still wear my leather jacket with them mind)...

The bottom line here I think is everybody has a personal preference. When I have been on biking tours I have ridden in leathers, textiles and motorcycle jeans. I have felt safe in all of them. I have watched many videos showing all the different types of textile, Jean and leather which have been tested against all types of conditions. From being dragged, pulled, stretched and can't remember the rest. Again I keep saying this I think the composition of materials have moved on so much that I think they all offer great protection.
A mate of mine just bought some Saint jeans which are I'm told the safest.. I tried on a pair of rokkertech jeans yesterday and they were so comfortable. It is there single layer version. Even with all the D30 armour in it they were great. Plus they make a tightish fit which really makes it feel safer as the protection will not move on a fall. I have quite thick thighs and these just felt great. The only issue is the price at £300. So I need to do some more research before I make a purchase. I have a trip to Spain and a tour in Europe in summer. I plan to use jeans and not leather.

I wear these and can tell you no cold air gets through the stretchy crotch area. A very comfy pair of jeans.

I usually keep them for warmer rides but have used them down to 7°C with just a thin base layer underneath and wasn't too cold. I think they're really good, even stood a light shower.

I wear my Wolf jeans most the year and prefer them over leather, in the colder months I wear an under layer. Good stretchy material on the knees and crotch area. Also wear Halvarssens jeans too which are also just as good.

Who wears motorcycle jeans while riding out on the MT10?
I’m in the market for a new pair and just don’t know which to get as they all have different options. I have been looking at Rev’IT, Knox, Hoodjeans, RST and a few others.
Allot of people wear Hoodjeans and say they are very good.
Knox seems to be going down a different path to other brands, they are pushing the point that protection should be worn close to the body if you have a accident. So allot of their gear is close fit which does make sense.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi all I am mostly two piece leathers but also have Kevlar combat,s which are comfy and cool for the 2 hot day's we have in Greater Manchester per year. Look well made no idea what they go down the road like and don't want to find out. End of the day personal choice wot bike/bike gear you wear

I use Hood Jeans. Tho for the (real boil yr butt off) hottest Spain conditions I wear lighter biking jeans made by Reedax Ltd to prevent me overheating and energy sapping bike rages

So I bought a pair of RokkerTech slim jeans on the weekend at the MotoLegends shop and I could not be happier. The advice and information provided by the staff at Motolegends is brilliant, the shop seems very small, but they have a massive warehouse full of stock. There is allot of gear to try on and a motorbike in the shop to make sure you get that exact fit / feeling from what you are about to purchase. At £350 for a pair of jeans it is expensive, but I think these are just I will keep for many years and are worth the price. Plus they come with the lifetime guarantee which is a no brainer.

For 90% of riding I wear these Bull-it Covert Easy Jeans. Super comfortable and fully lined and come with CE level 2 armour in the hips and knees. I also have a power ranger suit from the days I used to own a Firebalde. Its a Revit Hunter suit, I think I have wore it twice on the MT10. However I have heard good things about the Paranoid jean from Roadskin.Price seems fair and will be good to have a 2nd pair of riding jeans.
