Happy for you guys to be able to throw a leg over and twist that throttle with some amicable conditions, bring on the good weather for our Northern Brethren. Many thanks man! I did get another spin out today. God I love this bike ++ And the lunchtime run was eventful (in a non biking area).. As I came across a car on opposite side of road, after a bend, with its hazard lights flashing. And I seen, opposite the car, two bicycles laying on top of the ditch and a guy on the ground and fella a girl attending to the man on the ground. My pace and the narrow road meant that I had to ride on passed them to to a spot further up to get turned back round, to go back asI’m a firstaider. So my thoughts were guy knocked over a bicycle. How wrong I was. It turned out that the cyclists had heard loud moan screams from in the trees and they stopped to find that a man had drank industrial drain cleaner in a sucide attempt. The got him to the road side and the car was a girl who stopped to help too. His body had reacted, by vomiting, which meant that he was unable to drink the full bottle but his stomach was burning on fire and he was in a bad mental and emotional way too. To conclude the girl, was an A&E nurse and we got him comfortable, the police and ambulance out and his wife contacted. Boy, puts load of things into perspective. I believe that he will survive and I really hope he gets the mental help that is required. I cannot really say much more than that guys and girls. Tho to end on positive I really appreciated things since. And boy 13500 miles on and I still love this MT. Best wishes ya all.

Wow, what a bitter sweet first ride to the season. Hope old mate ends up being OK @x Plane and comes out the other side with a different view and wipes the old slate clean. Most of us are lucky and take it for granted that our pillion isn't the black dog. I know this is off topic from the MT10 forum, but don't stop asking your mates you think are in a dark place, RUOK? Must have been a bit of a Zen moment for you riding away from that ordeal, one minute you're on top of the world and stoked to be back riding on the MT10 after a hibernation, and then coming across someone who can't see a solution to carrying on.
Cheers

Yep. Kind of strange weird day. Tho I think I cope well in real adversity and took control of that situation. Think that is due to losing parent at the age of 14 And a reason that I find positives in what I have and do. Cheers mate.
Yes, not an MT thing but a real life thing.
Cops said if I hear nothing that means the dude did not pass away.
Cheers again.

Glad you helped out as allot of people would have just carried on going past. Hopefully he pulls through and does get the support. I have a few mates suffering from depression at the moment which plays a large roll these days in many peoples live. Very sad really.

The nurses car and my bike made a chicane that people had to slow down for and go round. Some asked if we needed any more help and as you say many gazed straight ahead and drove round and away on.
