Wow can't imagine, when I was 20 I had a RD350LC and then a RG 500 Gamma and thought that they were fun, we used to call them the Widow makers. Think I was one of the lucky ones to get away with the bonkers times. Maybe that's why I love this bike. Same here bought up with the lovely 2 strokes, had myself a 250lc ported to 280 and had rebuild the bugger every other weekend after a blast down LLandow, also had a 350 ypvs. Miss the old 2 stroke smell

Lost me my license I did for 6 months doing wheelie on brother's air cooled RD 350 (Torque Induction, no less). An MT-10 is like a big RD 400, in attitude, but much faster, lol.

Plus you always had a sporting chance back then as they never seemed to have all these unmarked cars like they do now so could spot them a mile off.

Very Nice YPVS Admin.... Attachment DeletedMy bro rebuilt this RD. There's 43 odd years between the two bikes altho they do share the fun Yamaha spirit... Attachment DeletedRD before power valves and the water cooling.. You can never have enough bikes but 2 MT-10s. Oh oh and I wonder how much a good RG 500 Gamma would fetch.

Very nice to see a unmolested YPVS, as most at least had a micron put on them
